Return Policy

Any order placed for our customized products cannot be canceled or modified after the order is placed. In the event that you must return the product; a fee of 50% of the purchase price will be charged. Please contact us for shipping instructions.

Please deliver your package to your local Fed-Ex, post office (or use usps.com Click and Ship labels) and ship to: Lasting Commemoratives, RETURNS, 6900 Tavistock Lakes Blvd., SUITE 400, Orlando, FL 32827

If your order is damaged by result of shipping, contact us and we will replace the piece for you at no additional cost. Photos of the shipping box and personalized piece will be necessary. You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your damaged package in order to qualify for a replacement.

Please note that we work efficiently with Fed-Ex on the delivery of your package. However mistakes do happen and Fed-Ex works with us on a quick replacement should damage occur.

Poster Prints, Medals and Pillows are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

How do I assemble my medals?

Instruction are included in every shadowbox order for how to insert and place your medals.

How long does it take to receive my order?

All of our products are made to order and generally take 4 weeks to fulfill. Posters which are not personalized usually take 3 days to fulfill. Production time can drastically vary around certain Race Events and Holidays. For the most current production time please email us at: orders@lastingcommemorativesart.com

Shipping:
Depending on products or destination you may have shipping options available for USPS or Fedex. Shipping rates and times are not factored into production time and do not increase your date of delivery.

ex. If you select Fedex Ground 2 day delivery. Your order could still take 4 weeks before it is shipped.

What are "photo guidelines"?

Photo guidelines is a darker or lighter 5"x7" rectangle on your personalized backboard to indicate where the photo should be placed.

What does it mean to "include medal"?

When you are provided this option for a display, it means you can choose to purchase the item with a medal(s) based on the event selected or to use your own. With either selection you will insert the medals yourself.

I'm trying to purchase a display but it says its sold out.

Most commonly you will see the sold out option on products that offer the option to purchase with medals. If you choose to not include medals, the product can be purchased.

*Please email us for medal availability as sometimes website inventory is not incorrect and we may still have the medal available.

How does a Pre-Order work?
For some Race Events, products will be available for purchase sooner than the race weekend. A pre-order purchase works the same as a normal online or Expo order and will not begin production until after the Race Event.

Posters and Lenticulars are available for Expo pickup option when Expo pickup is provided. These will not be prepacked for shipping. All other pre-order products are NOT available for expo pickup.

Opening the Shadowbox: Gently pull upward on the black tabs as straight as possible.

Wiggling side to side can dislodge the tab causing it to fall out. More tabs have been added than what is necessary should this accidentally happen. Once all tabs are open slide the backboard away from the frame and lay face up.

Inserting your photo: Photos are not included with Shadowboxes. To insert your own we recommend using 3M double sided tape. During the customization of you order you may have selected to include photo guidelines. If so, you will see a 5”x7” silhouette rectangle on the backboard, this is the intended location of the photo.

Assembly Instructions for clear medal clips: These instructions will show you how to use the clear medal clips to display your medals inside your new commemorative shadowbox.

1. Separate the lanyard from the velcro points.

2. Holding one side of the lanyard fold it onto itself and slowly feed it through the clip opening.

3. Repeat again for other side of the lanyard and make sure the length that has passed through the clip is even on both sides of the lanyard. Raise or lower the length of the lanyard through the clip as necessary so the resting point of the medal is in the desired location.

4. Reattach the lanyard from the velcro points and begin to fold the lanyard over itself in 1” - 2” intervals.

5. Your folded lanyard will now rest above the clip. Be sure that the fold is small enough as to be covered by the acrylic image.

6. You will now want to secure the folded lanyard above the clip. Here we have used frame wire, which can be found at most craft stores. You may also use a rubber band, tape, large paper clips, or use the lanyard its self to tie a knot if there is enough room.

7. Here is how the finished piece should look.

Extended Instructions*

Depending on the art display you purchased there may be less room to hide the lanyard above the medal clip than below. If this is the case it is recommended you perform the lanyard fold below the clip hole. *see steps 1-5 from the topside of the medal clip

Do not worry If your art display does not have an equal number of clips as there are to medals going into the frame, this is by design. Each clip can easily hold 2 medals. In some artwork cases this must happen and it is recommended you create a fold above the clip for one medal and below the clip for the other.

To do this you will insert the medal that will hang lowest first with the folded lanyard resting above the clip. Next you will perform a bottom fold through the same clip, see bottom right.
